JEE Advanced Exam is a National Level Entrance Exam for Engineering or Architecture programmes at India's top institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and so on. To take the JEE Advanced Exam candidates must first take the JEE Mains Exam As a result, the JEE Advanced examination serves as a gateway to IIT admissions. The top seven zonal IITs, namely IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati, organise it. The  Indian Institutes of Technology organise the JEE Advanced Examination as the sole admission test (IITs). The Joint Admission Board organises the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced, also known as IIT-JEE (JAB).
